June 2022

Red Rose School students have been concerned to help and support families in Ukraine. Mrs Watts, the class teacher helped them research the supplies that families needed.

They made posters asking students throughout the school to support.

Students brought into school, boxes of much-needed supplies for families who had fled from their homes.
Becky, from our office team, contacted International Aid Trust and staff and children travelled out to the depot. They spent the day not only loading the school’s boxes, but also packing and loading boxes of supplies onto the lorry that will soon head out to Ukraine.
It was a rewarding and fulfilling day in which staff and children felt privileged to be helping to ease the suffering in war-torn Ukraine.
