The recent inspection report reflects the currently unchanged Ofsted inspection framework that is now under review following the July 2023 Inquiry: Inspection Report 2024.
The Government’s Parliamentary Inquiry into Ofsted practices in July 2023 was triggered by the national outcry of teachers, school staff and the education sector against the impact of punitive inspections and reporting on schools and education settings. This arose from the death of a headteacher following her school’s devastating Ofsted inspection. We wrote to the Inquiry team after suffering under mis-reported and factual errors at our previous inspection; the Inquiry requested to publish our complete written submission of the flawed Inspection and Report we experienced.
