Following careful consideration, the school will be closed to all students on Thursday 25th June due to the current amber weather warning in place.
The decision has been made in the interest of health and safety, as predicted conditions are expected to create an unsuitable environment for both students and staff in school.
Temperatures tomorrow are due to rise to the highest level and remaining open would not allow us to maintain conditions that are comfortable or support the wellbeing of children and staff.
Based on the information from the Met Office, the temperature and weather conditions ease a little by Friday, and we will re-open on Friday 26th June at 9am, as usual.
We do not expect any changes to this arrangement and would only email if conditions revert to amber/red weather warning,
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and support.

🏠 At Home

Keep rooms cool by closing curtains and windows facing the sun.
-
Offer plenty of water and avoid sugary or caffeinated drinks.
